Journalist and editor. He has taught at the Universidad de los Andes and the Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Bogotá, and has also taught workshops for various organizations in Colombia and Latin America. He directs La Liga Contra el Silencio, an alliance of independent media outlets that combats censorship in Colombia. He was editor and later director of Cerosetenta (2011-2022). His work has been recognized with the Clemente Manuel Zabala Prize (2020), which honors exemplary editors in Colombia. He has participated in international programs such as the Beca Cosecha Anfibia (2021). His writings have been published in various Colombian and Latin American media outlets.
