He is an investigative environmental journalist, lawyer, and photographer, born in Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. In 2016, he founded www.raibolivia.org, an independent environmental journalism platform that produces content from Bolivia. He has collaborated with international media outlets such as National Geographic, Mongabay, Mongabay Latam, O Eco, and the Earth Journalism Network, among others, writing about rainforests, wildlife trafficking, natural resource exploitation, indigenous peoples, and other environmental issues in Latin America. For 15 years, Eduardo has traveled to five continents with his camera in hand, seeking stories that give voice to biodiversity and promote conservation: he has documented the lives of mountain gorillas in Rwanda; photographed penguin colonies in Patagonia; spoken with indigenous communities deep in the jungles; investigated the illegal trafficking of beetles in Japan; and filmed marine life on Caribbean reefs. His work has been recognized in various national and international journalism awards.
