Erika Bayá is a social communicator, but she has dedicated much of her professional experience to journalism. Her professional career, which began in 1999 as a cultural journalist, took a new direction after an enlightening experience in Amboró National Park in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. This encounter prompted her to specialize in environmental journalism, a field in which she has garnered significant achievements, such as the Conservation International Biodiversity Reporting Award in 2002. Erika's investigations and reports have been disseminated in national and international media. Since 2020, her commitment has strengthened as a regular contributor to the Environmental Information Network (RAI), a media outlet where she currently publishes environmental investigative reports.
