Jeanneth Valdivieso is an Ecuadorian journalist and editor with a degree in Political Science and Interactive Digital Communication. She has lived in Colombia since 2017. She is currently the journalistic coordinator for the media alliance La Liga Contra el Silencio (The League Against Silence), an initiative that promotes investigative and collaborative journalism on censored and silenced topics in Colombia. She has worked for international news agencies and in digital, audiovisual, and print media. She has collaborated with various media outlets as a freelance journalist from Uruguay, Brazil, and Cuba, where she lived. In Ecuador, she worked at The Associated Press (AP), the newspaper El Telégrafo, and the Andes News Agency. Since 2023, she has been part of the Amazon Underworld team, a transnational project that investigates issues related to environmental crimes and organized crime in the Amazon.
