Bram Ebus is a criminologist and investigative journalist based in Colombia. He specializes in natural resource conflicts, environmental crimes, and illicit economies. He has led several collaborative journalism investigations that have resulted in multiple awards, including two Online Journalism Awards and two Gabo Awards (Gabriel García Márquez Prize). Ebus is a Pulitzer Center alumni and also serves as a conflict and environment consultant for the International Crisis Group, where he covers security trends in the Amazon region.
